General Contractor Local SEO Success

TM Blast took over the SEO responsibilities for a contractor looking to launch their own business in 2024. Their website (Peteani Home Improvement) is on Squarespace and didn’t have a Google My Business or Bing Places for Business account. In two short months, I’ve been able to rank them for a wide range of services around their location in Saratoga Springs, New York.

What Was Done

In the “what was done” section, I’m going to highlight a series of changes I participated in over the past few months. There wasn’t one optimization that grew the traffic, but instead, a series of small changes that didn’t grow until about six months later.

I worked with Mike on getting on high-quality directories in Saratoga Springs, NY. Getting on entities helped increase their backlink profile, referral traffic, and leads

Built New Pages

Mike did not have any dedicated pages highlighting his contracting services. I worked with my writer on writing each page using Clearscope

I’ll be making a series of Google My Business changes over the month. I also want Mike to get a physical address so he can get on Apple Maps and increase his leads each month.
