Bing Site Indexing Service
Is your website not found in Bing’s index? Are some of your web pages in Microsoft Bing’s search results indexed while others are excluded? Are your rankings not strong enough to drive traffic from Bing back to your website? If that is the case, Bingbot and their crawler may have an issue with crawling, indexing, and ranking your content.
That is where I come in. Over the years, I’ve successfully gotten four websites (since 2024) indexed on Bing that were never indexed before. The service that I have for this is my Hourly SEO Consulting. Since this service has become more popular with my clients, I have created a dedicated page about Bing SEO indexing.
Therefore, if you have been searching for “how to get my content indexed on Bing” or “how to get Bing to index my content” then this service is for you!
Bing Site Indexing Service – What You Get
When you contact me, I run a quick command search in Bing using a URL: sitedomain.com command and similar searches to see if the content is indexed. If the content is in Bing, you have a ranking issue, so your content is not driving traffic to your site. This is an algorithm opportunity to fix, which will drive more traffic to your site from my recommendations. That is something I can help with. If your site is not indexed in Bing, then I spend a few hours running crawls and tests to see what the issue is and then I send over a list of changes for your team to implement. Below are some of the sample suggestions that I’ve given to webmasters to get indexed on Bing.
- Create a robots.txt file
- Add a link to their XML Sitemap file from the robots.txt file / remove broken links in that file
- Create an HTML file
- Add internal links to the pages not indexed
- Add dynamic JavaScript rendering to allow the HTML content to be served first
- Review backlink building and suggest the Disavow tool
- Suggest setting your crawl control rate to 100%
- Suggestion daily URL submissions on target pages
- Add schema markup (microdata) to help Bing understand your content
- Suggest duplicate content to be removed via 301 redirects
- The removal of keyword stuffing on pages that violate Bing’s quality guidelines/user experience
- Suggest social signal opportunities
- And more!
Why is Bing Not Indexing my Website? – Bing Site Indexing Help
If your website or webpages are not indexed on Microsoft Bing, it is most likely due to the website not following the Microsoft Bing Guidelines. Recently, I was hired by a company to help get their website indexed on Bing. I was able to do that after suggesting they implement a dynamic JavaScript rendering fix / a fix to the no script tag.How I Work
If your domain (or webpages) is not found on Bing via the site search, your website is not indexed. I will then request access to your Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools account to see how both search engines crawl your content. After that, I will run your website through a Sitebulb tool to mimic Bing’s crawler and see what they see on a standard crawl with Javascript enabled and disabled. Finally, I will review the Microsoft Bing Webmaster Guidelines to ensure your site complies with Bing’s algorithm.
Believe it or not, every site I successfully indexed on Bing had an issue with the guidelines.
Once I compile my notes, I will send them over to your side to implement with specific steps to take to ensure Bing can crawl, render, index, and rank your content. I’m four for four now with getting sites indexed, so I have not run into a situation where I have not been able to figure out the problem.
Why Bing Matters for SEO
Microsoft Bing powers more than just Bing.com. Bing powers the organic results for Yahoo, AOL, DuckDuckGo, Ecosia, and other search engines. Therefore, an issue with Bing is that those search engines do not see your web page. Plus, tools like Chatgpt and CoPilot use Bing’s index for results, so fixing this issue gives website owners more opportunities to get quality traffic to your website.
Bing has a tiny market share on mobile devices, but desktop is a different story. According to GS Stat Counter, in January 2025, Bing had a 17% market share via desktop search in the United States, which may surprise you. When you add mobile, desktop, console, and tablet for the same time period, Bing has around 7%, which still matters.
