+225% More Website Clicks from Apple Maps
While Apple Maps is smaller compared to Google, I’m highlighting this because generating more leads is the ultimate goal when it comes to my service.
This case study examines the difference in website clicks (taps on the website) between September 2025 and August 2025. Apple Maps is part of my Local SEO Service, but I also offer a one-off Apple Maps Local SEO service too.
An Emphasis on Category Growth

The image above, from Local Falcon, displays the SoLV growth for the category search ‘Nail Technician’. Local Falcon utilizes DuckDuckGo when displaying SoLV growth, but I’ve observed instances where this translates into increased Apple Maps activity, which is the case for my client. Essentially, they started at a 0% category, and are now just under 50%.

I was able to increase the category rankings for one of my #LocalSEO clients in September, which resulted in a 225% increase in website clicks MoM (101 vs 30). Their other metrics also improved, which included direction requests, shares, schedules, and more. Apple Maps SEO will vary, but my client list falls somewhere between 5-20% of their monthly leads come from Apple Business Connect each month.What Was Done
Added Photos
Apple Maps SEO relies on photos for freshness + engagement from users. Regularly, I added pictures to their profile to keep it active.
Local Falcon Baseline Scan
After seeing them (client) at a 0% SoLV, I reviewed the top competitors in their area and looked at winnable gaps/keyword stuffing in their name to flag to Apple.
Showcases
They (client) did not have any active showcases on their account. To increase engagement, I created a showcase that took about 2 weeks to get approved, but this made their profile bigger / adding in a new keyword.
Ran More Local Falcon Scans
I continued to run more trend reports in Apple Maps to see if my strategy was working, which it was. Seeing the increase in SoLV motivated me to become more aggressive with my updates.
Holiday Hours / Basic Information
I worked with my client to ensure their holiday hours were up to date / their information was correct on Apple. What may seem like a small change actually results in big opportunities.
Reviews / Social Media Matter
One area that is out of my control is Yelp reviews. Apple Maps heavily uses Yelp for its rankings. I’ve encouraged my client to solicit Yelp reviews to continue improving their rankings on Apple.
Final Thoughts
Apple Maps is a small player when it comes to Local SEO. Still, if you see a consistent trend, like my client did, where they received around 20 phone calls each month and then saw a significant increase to 100 from these changes, you can see that there are opportunities to increase your leads each month, which is the most important metric.
