Google Ads Management Services

Running Google Ads alongside a Local SEO Service or a National SEO Service is a necessity today. Google puts ads at the top, middle, and bottom of search results, and even in the map pack, giving users real estate to interact with, which means having real estate on Google has never been more important. Running Google Ads (PPC) means you are getting your service, product, or offering directly in front of searchers, and there is an ROI component. Plus, with SEO, you effectively can have two or more placements on page 1 of the results.

Many businesses run Google Ads as part of their marketing strategy, but they either don’t have the time or the experience to manage the account. That is where TM Blast comes into play.

TM Blast from Greg Kristan focuses on optimizing your campaign’s performance to get more leads, lower your cost per click, save on wasted ad spend in the future, and so much more. Here is what I focus on as a Google Ads agency for my clients.

What is in Google Ads Management Service?

The Google Ads Management is an add-on service for Local and National SEO Clients

  • Review current campaign performance metrics upon onboarding. Those include your monthly spend, average CPC (cost-per-click), conversion data, quality score, landing pages, and more
  • Review where your ads appear in Google search. For instance, some Google Ads campaigns I take over spend over half their ad budget on the display network / YouTube without realizing it, which is typically not great via a return on investment.
  • Ensure we have proper conversion tracking on the platform (Google Ads and Google Analytics)
  • Add negative keywords to your account to help reduce unnecessary ad spend
  • Perform ongoing keyword research and explore additional Google extensions
  • Review and tweak your ad copy with AI, add extensions, and more to help improve your quality score
  • Sync my changes to Microsoft Advertising (Bing Ads) if the client also runs that.
  • A detailed report that is included in the monthly reporting
  • And more!

Google Ads Device Targeting Tip – Google Ads Management

One of the first things I do when I onboard a new #GoogleAds #PPC client is review their device summary. In this case, my client has more than 87% of their spend go to mobile, and 81% of their leads come from that device. However, desktop has a CPA that is half as much as mobile, and the data from GA4 shows that to be the case across all channels of traffic. In this video, I share what I do next for my clients to either reduce their CPA, increase their CPA a bit, or more

Why Run Google Ads for a Local Business?

Before 2026, most of my clients had only paid me for Local SEO Services. However, when Google removed the organic map pack phone, website, and directions icon from mobile search results, clients saw a 60-70% drop in phone calls, even though rankings did not change. However, Google does allow advertisers to get into the map pack results with an ad that has those buttons, so that is where the clicks and leads are going.

With that in mind, I began pushing all of my Local SEO accounts to run Google Ads. PPC (pay-per-click) is part of the game now with that change, so if you are seeing fewer leads and relied only on organic search, you need to pay to get into the mix.

Why you want to run Google Ads as a Local Business

Why Run Google Ads for a National Company?

I’ve been managing several of my client’s Google Ads Accounts for their national brand. Running effective Google ads helps generate leads, build brand awareness, and drive more high-quality traffic to your website.

Proper campaign management for your Google Ads account leads to better return on investment through ongoing optimizations. Plus, when I can see the search terms that are driving leads to your business, I can bake that into the SEO strategy to help with future savings.

What I Focus on in Google Ads for my Clients

Google Ads – What I Focus On

My primary objective with the Google Ads Service is to take that part off your plate so you can focus on your actual business goals. Let me be the one on your account, reviewing your ad performance and leads weekly, and identifying any errors that need to be fixed.

Second, I want to help control your ad spend as much as possible. Having someone in your Google AdWords account review everything weekly lets me identify new negative keywords to block and save you money. Also, your targeting (or target audience) is incorrect, your networks that display your account are incorrect, or something else is wrong. Whatever I can do to help you save money and deliver a stronger ROI is my goal.

Third, I want to be in the know of any new opportunities that can help generate more leads for your business. For example, Google removed the organic phone call icons from the map results in 2026. Most business owners would notice that leads are slowing down and won’t know what to do next. With me in charge, I can stay ahead of that change and recommend we allocate budget to something like Performance Max campaigns, which you might not be aware of.

I Don’t Handle Google Shopping Ads / Display Network Ads / Video Ads

To be upfront, I don’t have experience building shopping campaigns for e-commerce clients. I do have experience running search ads, but I don’t have experience with product feeds, so I don’t offer that service.

Additionally, I don’t offer any display ad campaigns. Display ads are not something that I have enough experience with to offer to my clients at this time.

Finally, I don’t offer any video ad marketing via Google Ads.

What is the Cost for TM Blast Google Ads Management

What is the Cost?

For Google Ads Management, I charge $900 as a retainer for my monthly clients.

However, if I need to rebuild campaigns from scratch, then I move that cost into an hourly type of project. For example, if I need 10 hours to rebuild campaigns from the ground up, I would charge $150 an hour to get this project up and running. Moving forward, I would charge $900 to manage what I built.

Combine with SEO

One advantage of having me oversee your Google Ads campaigns is that they closely align with my overall SEO approach. Whether you are working with me through my Local SEO Service or my B2B SEO Service, the data generated from Google Ads helps guide and strengthen the organic strategy.

Google Analytics 4 no longer shows the full list of keywords people search before arriving on your website. While tools like Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools provide some insight, they typically offer limited samples and do not connect that data directly to conversions.

By reviewing the Search Terms report in Google Ads, I can identify the exact queries triggering your ads and, more importantly, the ones driving leads or sales. Once those high-value terms are discovered, I add them to my ongoing keyword tracking for both Google and Bing. From there, I evaluate your site’s current organic ranking and implement SEO improvements to push those same terms higher in search results, ultimately increasing your overall traffic and lead volume.
