Content Checks Are What We Control
Recently, I published a blog post on TM Blast discussing how I think about content for SEO and AI. The blog is called “Who Can Manage Bing Ads to Complement the SEO and AI SEO strategy“, which illustrates the strategy I’m pushing for my clients.
We can update existing pages on our site to make them easier to read, adding quick summaries, tables, and more to help LLMs discover and cite our pages more often. However, as I shared in that blog post about Bing Ads and who can manage it, I recommend creating a specific blog post for this prompt. I understand this blog may not drive SEO traffic, but I expect it will be heavily cited in ChatGPT and others as a brand, which is the goal here.
Technical Checks Matter: Technical SEO is Still Key
Heavy JavaScript (JS) ecommerce store websites will struggle with citations on AI platforms. While I can’t control how much JS is on your website, I can at least ensure there are no unnecessary blocks taking place that will restrict future access from these bots. If I spot them, I will work with you and your team to remove them so these platforms can index them in the future.

GA4 Shows AI-Powered Visits
