Microsoft Bing Ads Management
One of the benefits of running Microsoft Bing Ads for your business is that you reach users who are not searching on Google. Most PPC campaigns focus only on Google, which makes sense since it captures the majority of search traffic. However, with Google regularly changing its algorithm and search results layout, it is wise to diversify your reach across search engines. That is where Bing Ads Management comes into play, whether you need Local SEO or National SEO services.
For the most part, Microsoft Bing Ads offers many of the same features as Google Ads. Advertisers can sync their Google Ads campaigns directly into Microsoft Advertising through the Microsoft Ads Editor. Even so, additional optimizations are usually required to achieve the best performance from your Bing campaign.
Here is a breakdown of the Microsoft Bing Ads Management service from TM Blast.
Key Summary
- Time Commitment: Around 4 Hours each month. Can increase if I need to build new campaigns / excessive number of campaigns and ad groups
- Price: $150 an Hour
- What You Get: Microsoft Ad Reporting, Daily Negative Keyword Additions, testing additional placements like the syndicated network, reviewing goals, spend, and more to return a positive ROI by working with me. A positive ROI can be lowering your total spend, more leads, or a lower cost per lead
What is in Bing Ads Management Service?
The Bing Ads management is an add-on service for Local and National SEO Clients
- Sync your existing Google Ads campaign into Microsoft Advertising if it has not already been done, or build a new campaign with ad copy, keywords, and targeting from scratch. I can use Microsoft Bing Ads Editor for much of the setup and configuration.
- Review current campaign performance metrics upon onboarding, including ad spend, cost per click, cost per lead, click through rate, and conversion data.
- Evaluate your targeting settings and ensure you are reaching the correct audience based on location, demographics, and search intent.
- Ensure proper conversion tracking is in place. When possible, I prefer to optimize toward either CPA (cost per acquisition) or ROAS (return on ad spend).
- Regularly review your search terms report to identify and add negative keywords to reduce unnecessary spend and protect your budget.
- Perform ongoing keyword research and look for additional extensions offered by Microsoft Bing Ads that can improve performance.
- Review and implement available ad extensions within Microsoft Advertising, including those that mirror Google and those exclusive to the platform.
- Assist with creating dedicated landing pages that align with your existing Google Ads strategy when needed.
- And more!
Microsoft Advertising Device Targeting Matters To Control Spend
Microsoft Advertising (Bing Ads) Management is a service I provide my clients. One of the reasons I offer this service as an add-on is that most of my clients don’t log into Bing Ads to check their performance. Most use a set it and forget it method, or they only sync what they do in Google Ads into Bing on a regular basis. One of the first things I do for my clients is review their Google Analytics 4 data via their goals against the devices they target in Microsoft Bing Ads. Bing Ads, by default, will opt you into all device targeting, which can make sense. However, I generally see that the desktop converts way better than mobile, so I like to -90% mobile devices for my clients and sometimes increase the bid for desktop. The thought process here is to control your spend more, which should lead to more conversions, a lower CPA, or even a higher return on ad spendWhy Run Bing Ads?
I recommend that my Local SEO and National SEO clients consider running Bing Ads for several reasons. Bing’s search results power Bing, AOL, DuckDuckGo, Yahoo, Ecosia, and other search partners. When you combine these sources inside Google Analytics, you often see a market share between five and ten percent.
According to StatCounter, Bing accounts for just under ten percent of search queries in the United States as of January 2026. That aligns closely with what I see in my clients’ first party data.
Another benefit of running Bing Ads, either alongside Google Ads or as a standalone campaign, is that cost per click (CPC) is typically lower. Because most advertisers focus heavily on Google, competition is stronger and prices are higher. Bing Ads should not replace Google Ads entirely, but they can complement your strategy. For example, if you invest five thousand dollars per month in Google Ads, you could test one to two thousand dollars on Bing and often reach a comparable number of clicks at a lower average cost per click.
Bing Ads Management: What I Focus On
My primary focus with Bing Ads campaigns is budget control and performance efficiency. The goal is to get the most value from your ad spend. In some cases, increasing bids may raise cost per click, but doing so strategically can improve visibility and lead volume.
Campaign optimization involves reviewing impression share, identifying keywords that are appearing below the first page, analyzing click through rate, and evaluating conversion performance. I continuously monitor your account so you do not have to. Each month, I provide clear communication on how Microsoft Search Ads are performing and what adjustments are being made to improve results.
What is the Cost?
I charge one hundred fifty dollars per hour for Bing Ads Management. Many clients bundle this with Google Ads Management for a more unified paid search strategy.
For example, if I spend four hours per month optimizing your Microsoft Bing Ads campaign, the total cost would be six hundred dollars.
I offer Bing Ads Management at an hourly rate instead of a percentage of ad spend because I do not want to be incentivized to increase your budget unnecessarily. My goal is to build an effective and efficient Microsoft Advertising account that generates more leads through improved click through rates, smarter bidding strategies, A and B testing, stronger ad copy, and cost conscious optimization.
Typically, a client will pay $900 a month for Google Ads Management (6 hours) and have me spend 4 hours on Bing Ads ($650).
Bing Ads to Complement the SEO Strategy
One benefit of having me manage your Microsoft Bing Ads account is that it integrates with my SEO strategy. Whether you are getting my Local Search Engine Optimization Service or my B2B SEO Service, I’ll be using Bing Ads for my organic strategy.
Google Analytics 4 does not show me the keywords people search for that land on your site. Bing Webmaster Tools / Google Search Console shows sample data, which is helpful, but only in a sample amount without any goal tracking.
Using the Search Terms report in Bing Ads, I’ll be able to see the keywords that trigger your ads and, most importantly, lead to conversions for your business. From there, I can add them to my daily keyword tracker for Google / Bing to see how we rank organically. After that, I can see what I can do to improve their organic rankings and deliver even more volume to your website.
If you are looking for someone who can manage Bing Ads to complement your SEO strategy, then you’ve come to the right place. I use the same strategy on TM Blast where I run Bing Ads to gather more insight into the search queries that people are using.
